The Sun
A short film where you can hear a soundtrack mature: compare the first working version from 2021 with the final mix. Few projects let you demonstrate the craft's progress this directly.

Before and after
For this project I deliberately let you hear both versions of the soundtrack: the first working mix (2021) and the final version (2023). The difference isn't loudness — it's space, clarity, the balance of layers and the way sound directs attention.
Switch between "before" and "after" right in the player and listen for the depth of the atmospheres, how the effects settle into the space of the scene, and dynamics that breathe with the picture.
What changed between the versions
New atmosphere layering, tighter effect synchronisation, cleanup and spatial placement of every track, and a final mix with controlled dynamics. This is exactly the process I teach in the sound dramaturgy and film mixing course.
