An audio guide for an exhibition at the Gočár Gallery — five audio tracks leading visitors through the show. Spoken word, sound design and the dramaturgy of listening in a gallery space.
An audio guide as dramaturgy
A good audio guide is not a narrated label — it is the exhibition's sonic layer. The five tracks for the Gočár Gallery work with the rhythm of listening: when to speak, when to let the artwork sound in silence, and when to lead the visitor onward with sound.
What I solved
Speech intelligibility both in headphones and in the acoustically live gallery space, consistent loudness across tracks, and sound design that supports the exhibition's themes without competing with them.
I deliver audio guides and exhibition sound layers to galleries turnkey — from script to player-ready files.
My contribution: Script for the audio layer, voice recording and post-production, sound design, mastering of five tracks for in-gallery listening.
